Display and Design

The Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra boasts a stunning 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, with a resolution of 2960 x 1848 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. This large display is ideal for media consumption, creative tasks, and multitasking, with support for S-Pen.

The screen also comes with an anti-reflective coating, improving visibility in bright environments. The Galaxy Tab S10+, while slightly smaller, has a 12.4-inch display with a resolution of 2800 x 1752, also supporting 120Hz refresh.

Both tablets feature an ultra-thin profile, with the Tab S10 Ultra measuring 5.4mm in thickness and weighing around 723g (for the 5G model). The Tab S10+ is slightly lighter at 576g. These tablets are built from Armor Aluminum, giving them a durable yet premium finish. Both the tablets are rated IP68 for dust and water.

The S Pen also offers IP68 water resistance and a built-in magnetic holder on the back of the tablet.

Performance

Under the hood, both tablets are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ processor, offering up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage, which can be expanded via microSD to 1.5TB.

Samsung claims a significant 18% boost in CPU performance, 28% improvement in GPU capabilities, and 14% better neural processing (NPU) compared to the previous generation. This performance leap allows users to handle resource-heavy tasks like video editing, gaming, and multitasking with ease.

Cameras and Audio

Both the Tab S10 Ultra and Tab S10+ are equipped with 13MP (main) and 8MP (ultra-wide) rear cameras, allowing for high-quality photos and videos. On the front, the Ultra model steps up with a dual 12MP camera setup for selfies and video calls, while the S10+ sports a single 12MP ultra-wide front camera.

For audio, both models include a quad-speaker setup with AI-driven features such as Dialogue Boost, which enhances voice clarity during media playback, making these devices ideal for entertainment.

Battery and Charging

Battery life is another strong point of the Galaxy Tab S10 series. The Tab S10 Ultra houses an 11,200mAh battery, while the S10+ comes with a 10,090mAh battery. Both devices support 45W fast charging, which is essential given their powerful hardware and large displays.

AI and Software

Running on Android 14, the Galaxy Tab S10 series integrates Samsung’s Galaxy AI, which enhances everything from note-taking to smart home management. The tablets can act as AI hubs for controlling SmartThings devices, providing features like 3D Map View and AI Energy Mode to monitor and manage energy consumption at home.

The AI-powered tools are central to the tablet’s appeal, including features like Circle to Search, which allows users to quickly find information without switching apps, and PDF Overlay Translation, making it easier to work with foreign language documents.
