MSI has announced the TITAN 18 Pro Ryzen Edition, an upgraded variant of their flagship ultra-high-end laptop, now featuring AMD’s top-tier Ryzen 9 7945HX3D processor. This 16-core powerhouse, equipped with 3D V-Cache, was AMD’s fastest Ryzen mobile CPU at its launch, particularly in gaming.

Previously, the Ryzen 9 7945HX3D was exclusively available in the ASUS ROG Scar 17 X3D, but MSI’s latest offering brings this high-performance chip to a new audience. Originally launched in January with Intel’s flagship Core i9-14900HX, the MSI Titan lineup now expands to include the AMD version. This desktop-class 55W SKU features up to 24 cores in its Intel variants, but the Ryzen edition focuses on AMD’s superior gaming performance.

The PRO series features an 18-inch Mini-LED panel with 4K resolution at 120Hz, DisplayHDR 1000 certification, and 100% DCI-P3 color coverage, ensuring stunning visuals for gaming and creative work. Although it lacks Thunderbolt 4 support, the AMD model compensates with increased memory capacity, supporting up to dual 48GB of DDR5 RAM. Storage options include support for both Gen5 and Gen4 SSDs through two individual slots.

The MSI TITAN 18 Pro Ryzen Edition is now available for purchase, priced at 21,999 RMB (approximately $3,050 USD). This launch marks a significant expansion of high-performance gaming laptops featuring AMD’s top-tier mobile processors, offering gamers and power users a compelling new option in the market.
