Intel’s next-generation Arrow Lake-S desktop processors are confirmed for an official announcement on October 10, with the product release set for October 24, 2024.
This new lineup, branded Core Ultra 200 Series, introduces a significant upgrade over previous generations, including the debut of the LGA-1851 socket, replacing the older LGA-1700 series.
The Arrow Lake processors will be built on TSMC’s process, with Intel shifting away from its own 20A process. The new CPUs will feature a chiplet architecture, combining advanced Performance (P) cores and Efficient (E) cores.
The flagship model, Core Ultra 9 285K, boasts a max turbo speed of 5.7 GHz and a 250W turbo power footprint, with 40MB of L2 and 36MB of L3 cache. Meanwhile, the entry-level Core Ultra 5 245KF features six P-cores, eight E-cores, and a 159W turbo TDP.
