Nothing’s sub-brand CMF is set to launch its first smartphone, the CMF Phone 1, with promising specifications and attractive pricing. The official reveal is scheduled for July 8, but reliable sources have provided a comprehensive list of specs and pricing details for the Indian market.
The CMF Phone 1 will sport a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and an in-display fingerprint sensor, offering vibrant colors and smooth visuals.
Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC, ensuring robust performance for various tasks. The camera setup includes a 50MP rear camera paired with a depth sensor and a 16MP front camera for selfies. The device will be fueled by a 5,000mAh battery supporting 33W wired charging.
Running on Android 14, the CMF Phone 1 will be available in two variants: one with 6GB of RAM and another with 8GB, both featuring 128GB of expandable storage.
Pricing in India is expected to be INR 15,999 for the 6GB RAM model and INR 17,999 for the 8GB RAM model, considering discounts and bank offers.
While the CMF Phone 1 appears to be a more budget-friendly version of the Nothing Phone (2a), it still packs impressive features. Compared to the Nothing Phone (2a), the CMF Phone 1 omits the Glyph lights and ultrawide camera, reduces the selfie camera resolution by half, and lowers the charging speed from 45W to 33W.
CMF has been building anticipation by revealing one component of the Phone 1 each day leading up to the launch.
